Baglietto to develop two new superyacht projects

bagliettoBaglietto, the historical boat builder based in La Spezia, Italy, presented two new projects pencilled by Francesco Paszkowski Design in Miami during an event held at the Casa Tua restaurant. The new projects are soon bound to join the already wide production of the La Spezia shipyard.

The first of the two projects is a 44 m yacht that continues Baglietto’s long-standing tradition of OPEN crafts, which in the past had already made the brand’s success with yachts like the Blue Princess. Consistently with the boat builder’s will to reinterpret its precious heritage in a modern, contemporary style, the new 44 m OPEN stands out for the great liveability of both its outdoor areas and interiors, while preserving the aggressive look and impressive performance of a sporty craft. 2 possible layouts are available, with 4 or 5 cabins, as well as a third option in which the main deck can be raised, making room for a larger master cabin. A wide sunbathing area with a small custom-made pool can be found aft, while a second living area located forward allows to enjoy the sea view in the utmost privacy.

The new 48 m Explorer stands out for its excellent sea-keeping features, and is thus ideal for long range cruises and when spending a long time at anchor. Great onboard comfort is also ensured in the salon and the connected dining area, located on the main deck. Here, a large galley with storage area and the laundry can be found amidships, while the full-beam master cabin extends across the entire bow area. The sundeck is entirely devoted to conviviality, and features a sunbathing area, a lounge area, and a dining area. But there is also room for a Jacuzzi tub, which has been included in the stairwell. The transom hosts a beach area with a bar, a gym, a Turkish bath, and a sauna. As for possible fittings and furnishings, the Owner is offered a very wide range of choices, from an essential style to a highly sophisticated one.

The 44 m OPEN and the 48 m EXPLORER yachts thus complete Baglietto’s range, which can offer the brand’s customers a series of products from 35 m to 65 m in the Open (44 m), planing (the FAST line, including a 35 m, a 43 m, and a 46 m model), displacement (44 m, 55 m, and 62 m), and Explorer (48 m) lines, plus the MV ‘tender’ line, with a 13 m and a 19 m model.

About the Baglietto shipyard
Boat builder Cantiere Baglietto Spa specialises in the construction of new planing aluminium yachts ranging between 35 and 50 metres in length and steel & aluminium displacement megayachts above 40 metres. The company’s activities also include top-quality ship repair and refitting services, as well as the construction of military crafts, the Seagull brand’s traditional business. Extending over a more-than-35,000 sq metre area overlooking the Gulf of the Poets, a truly strategic area for mega-yacht traffic in the Tyrrhenian sea, the shipyard recently completed an extensive reconstruction project that involved both its manufacturing and commercial facilities.
