New SCV2 F ormat\n\n2. SAN 93 – Surveyor Required Actions for:-\n- Intermediate or Annual Examinations delayed beyond any “Grace Period”\n- Postponement of Renewal Examinations (max 1 month with restrictions)\n- Certificate Sus pension\, Cancellation and Reinstatement\n\n3. Single Handed Operations\n- SCV2 now has a box to tick if Single Handed Ops required\, and\;\n- SCV2 New Annex to record compliance with Single Handed Ops requirements\n\n4. S urvey Regime – Owner Self Certify or Surveyor every Year\n- Clarificatio n of the Code requirements\n– Tick box on SCV2 to highlight\n\n5. SAN 53 – MLC Endorsements on SCV Certificates\n- Note: New standard endorsemen t on all certificates stating SCV only valid if any required MLC Report ha s been issued – however\, this may change again.\n\n6. MGN 553 – Lifes aving Appliances\n- Phase Out of ORC and Approval Requirements for ISO 965 0 Liferafts\n\n7. Vessel certificate wording amendments\n- Highlighting th e certificate is only valid if any modifications or damage are reported to the CA and approved/rectified as required.\n\n8. Accident reporting and n ew report form\n- Review Accident Reporting Requirements\n- New IIMS CA fo rm for Owners/Managing Agents to use for reporting\n\n9.
