DESCRIPTION:Moisture Meters\, new Tramex\, and osmosis will be presented by
  Nigel Clegg\, a name well known to many surveyors. He has presented at va
 rious IIMS events in recent years and has lectured on these subjects too. 
 He has hosted training courses for surveyors and boatyard personnel and ha
 s written extensively in the yachting press for magazines such as Practica
 l Boat Owner. Nigel has a background immersed in paint! He spent 16 years 
 with Akzo Nobel (International as was) spending his latter years as Europe
 an Technical Manager (Yacht Coatings Division) which involved the detailed
  investigation of a wide range of coatings failures and defects on vessels
  from glass fibre dinghies to aluminium superyachts\, and from steel narro
 wboats to wooden fishing vessels.\n\nIn this presentation\, Nigel will exp
 lain how moisture meters work and give some practical hints and tips. He w
 ill introduce the new 'smart' Tramex which is to be launched imminently. I
 n the second part of his presentation\, Nigel will talk about osmosis\, it
 s characteristics\, and what causes it.\n\nThe online seminar will commenc
