 t for 3 hours on Tuesday the 3rd of November 2026 at 10.00am UK London tim
 e. The seminar is open to IIMS members and non-members.\n\nYour hosts and 
 presenters for this seminar are Paul Homer\, IIMS Chairman of Standards an
 d Mike Schwarz\, IIMS Chief Executive Officer.\n\nIIMS receives too many s
 urveyor complaints each year\, generally caused by poor writing standards 
 and skills\, some of which are serious in nature. And the situation is not
  improving. A report is the surveyor’s intellectual property and he/she 
 lives or dies by it. This maximum three-hour online course\, featuring a l
 ot of up-to-date and fresh content brings the art of report writing bang u
 p to date. The aim is to provide the essential information that a yacht an
 d small craft surveyor needs to consider when gathering the information an
 d then compiling his/her report. There are suggested clauses for use in th
 e report to protect against possible litigation and advice in the event th
 at something goes wrong. Additionally\, there is advice on contracts and t
 erms of business and how\, when and where these should be used. There is a
 lso\, a practical session and delegates will be required to do a little pr
 eparation before the seminar in readiness and will be encouraged to contri
 bute their thoughts. So\, if you want to tidy up and strengthen your repor
