DESCRIPTION:Before you reserve your place\, please note this online seminar
  will be broadcast using the zoom video conferencing platform and will las
 t for 3 hours on Thursday 6th November 2025 at 10.00am UK London time. The
  seminar is open to IIMS members and non-members.\n\nYour hosts and presen
 ters for this seminar are Paul Homer\, IIMS Chairman of Standards and Mike
  Schwarz\, IIMS Chief Executive Officer.\n\nIIMS receives too many surveyo
 r complaints each year\, generally caused by poor writing standards and sk
 ills\, some of which are serious in nature. And the situation is not impro
 ving. A report is the surveyor’s intellectual property and he/she lives 
 or dies by it. This maximum three-hour online course\, featuring a lot of 
 up-to-date and fresh content brings the art of report writing bang up to d
 ate. The aim is to provide the essential information that a yacht and smal
 l craft surveyor needs to consider when gathering the information and then
  compiling his/her report. There are suggested clauses for use in the repo
 rt to protect against possible litigation and advice in the event that som
 ething goes wrong. Additionally\, there is advice on contracts and terms o
 f business and how\, when and where these should be used. There is also\, 
 a practical session and delegates will be required to do a little preparat
 ion before the seminar in readiness and will be encouraged to contribute t
 heir thoughts. So\, if you want to tidy up and strengthen your report writ
