He is an active surveyor o perating in both the UK and Portugal and is also an MCA coding examiner. G eoff has an all round knowledge of small craft and ships of all types\, bu t in this presentation he is focusing his attention on vessels below 24 me tres. Many surveyors these days are reluctant to survey the engines\, simp ly choosing to report the make and model of the propulsion unit and going no further.\n\nGeoff will talk and show where to look and what to look for . He also has a wealth of knowledge and experience on common engine faults and will share those with delegates too\, giving some practical hints and tips.\n\nAdditionally\, Geoff has authored one of the IIMS distance learn ing education modules on this subject and is a course marker too.\n\nA Fel low of the Institute\, Geoff is also its current President.\n\nThe online seminar will commence at 12.00 GMT (UK time) on the 4th August 2020 and is expected to last for up to 90 minutes.
