The IIMS Certifying Authority Autumn Training day will take place at the Village Hotel, Cosham, Nr Portsmouth on Monday 23 September. The content of the day is subject to final confirmation. We have two interesting speakers to open the day with. After lunch we plan to focus on the many changes that have recently taken place and will give an insight into the changes to the codes that are expected in the coming months. You are reminded that if you are an IIMS CA coding examiner, you are expected to attend one such training day per annum. You may also join this training day online using the Zoom platform.
Venue: Village Hotel Portsmouth, Lakeshore Drive, Portsmouth PO6 3FR.
There is ample free parking onsite and the day includes lunch and refreshments.
09.30 to 11.00 – Alex Cottle & Brian Hallett, Directors of Island Ribs: The structure and manufacture of RIBs and meeting the necessary regulations.
11.20 to 12.30 – Simon Johnston, Head of Maintenance, Fleet Operation, Clipper Ventures plc: The coding process from an operator’s point of view
12.30 to 13.00 – Mike Schwarz: Update on the proposed CA coding examiner certification programme
14.00 to 16.30 – Update on CA procedures, recent and future changes to the codes.
Optional: We have also secured a hotel room price of £45 only for the Sunday night should any delegate wish to stay the night before.
Travelling by train: The Village Hotel is located just a 15 minute walk from Cosham Train Station and easily reachable by taxi.
